I paint stillness for a calmer home.

Original oil paintings on aluminium. Each one is an invitation to pause.

Within: a face at rest, eyes closed, in warm and cool light — Within, Transcendence II. Oil on aluminium.

The idea

I paint the stillness that is already in us all, underneath all the thinking. My figures aren't saints or ascended masters: a girl leaning against a scruffy wall, a face at rest with its eyes closed, a woman meditating as the sky burns behind her.
